Earlier in the year I posted the world's smallest stop motion animation, made using cameras designed for taking blood samples. Here, at the opposite end of the spectrum, is the worlds largest stop motion animation! Thanks to Mark Berry for sending this my way.

This week I've been working on three long panoramic collages for my Minor Project. They are made from old National Geographics from the 1950's and 60's, and chart the history of human civilisation, from bare landscapes to small towns, big cities, factories, then nuclear explosions and wastelands, and finally regrowth.

This is amazing!! I have no idea how you could do something so delicate and fiddly with paper. I found this on the Paper Collective website, which is a pretty exciting place. Hopefully I can make it to Sydney next weekend for the first ever Paper Convention.
